EarFun has unveiled its latest flagship over-ear headphones, the Wave Pro X, at the IFA 2026 event in Berlin. With a focus on delivering superior audio quality, the headphones boast dual-driver technology, hybrid active noise cancellation, and AI-based processing, all wrapped up with an impressive battery life. The company emphasizes that the Wave Pro X is designed not to excel in just one area but to provide a well-rounded audio experience that enhances sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, connectivity, and battery performance.
The Wave Pro X features EarFun’s DCAA acoustic architecture, integrating two individually tuned dynamic drivers and high-purity voice coils to create a broader soundstage while maintaining detailed audio across all frequencies. For noise cancellation, the headphones utilize an eight-microphone array that performs real-time processing to effectively adapt to the environment and minimize external sounds. Users can enjoy up to 90 hours of playback or 50 hours with noise cancellation active, with a quick 15-minute charge providing an additional 10 hours of listening time.
Designed with user comfort in mind, the headphones include memory-foam earcups and a foldable design to facilitate extended wear. Connectivity options are robust, featuring Bluetooth multipoint technology for easy switching between devices and a 3.5mm wired connection with a hi-res bypass option for those who prefer a traditional audio setup. According to White Wang, CEO of EarFun, the Wave Pro X was crafted to integrate advancements across multiple aspects of headphone technology rather than focusing exclusively on a single feature.
In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun also gave a sneak peek of its upcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. These new earbuds are set to include updated sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing capabilities. The development of the Air Pro 5 involved collaboration with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology business, who assisted with ANC modeling, tuning, and validation. Further details and availability information for the Air Pro 5 will be released at a later date.
The EarFun Wave Pro X is now available globally and can be purchased through EarFun’s official website and Amazon. The headphones are priced at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
