Heroes and Nashville Star Hayden Panettiere Passes Away at 36

Actress Hayden Panettiere, renowned for her performances in ‘Heroes,’ ‘Nashville,’ and the ‘Scream’ film series, has passed away at the age of 36, according to her representative. Her father, Skip Panettiere, remembered her as “an incredible light and a force of nature” who spread love and joy to those around her. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Panettiere embarked on her acting journey as a child, initially appearing in commercials before making her film debut as the voice of Dot in ‘A Bug’s Life.’ Her career continued with roles in movies such as ‘Remember the Titans’ and ‘Tiger Cruise.’ At 17, she achieved global recognition by portraying Claire Bennet in the popular TV series ‘Heroes,’ which aired for four seasons between 2006 and 2010, solidifying her status as a household name.

She further showcased her talents in the television series ‘Nashville,’ playing the character of country music star Juliette Barnes. Her portrayal earned her two Golden Globe nominations, as well as chart success with several songs from the show making it onto the Billboard country music charts. Panettiere also portrayed Kirby Reed in ‘Scream 4’ and reprised the role in ‘Scream VI’ in 2023.

Throughout her career, Panettiere was candid about her personal challenges, including struggles with addiction, recovery, and postpartum depression. Earlier this year, she shared her experiences in a memoir titled ‘This Is Me: A Reckoning.’
